Porous Pipe, 16mm OD x 25m

This porous pipe is designed for surface and sub-surface irrigation and is ideal for use around trees, shrubs and border areas. Unlike conventional methods of irrigation by sprinkling, water is not needlessly lost by evaporation. If used on the surface it is recommended that the rubber pipe is lightly covered with bark or soil to protect it from UV damage. It can be used in runs of up to 50 metre and has a maximum water output of up to 4 litres per hour per metre. We recommend a pressure regulator (our code: H454) to avoid risk of the pipe ballooning in areas of high water pressure. LDPE pipe (our code: H453) can be used as a supply pipe, or ‘spine’ to feed the porous pipe. 16mm external diameter with an ID of 12mm. 25 metre roll.
