Landmark Trading stock a wide range of lowering equipment for tree surgeons. As a key part of every arborist’s kit, lowering equipment enables you to safely lower limbs to the ground from high up within the tree canopy. Our equipment will help protect trees while lowering heavy branches and ensure your safety by making the whole lowering process as straightforward as possible.

Our lowering equipment consists of single elements through to complete lowering kits:

Lowering ropes include a wide variety of strengths and lengths from the 50m long 12mm diameter Mallowbraid Bullrope, a 16 plait construction lowering rope with breaking strain of 4320kg, to the 24mm Staplespun Lowering Rope with a breaking strain of 8000kg.

Lowering strops include the Shizll Dead Eye with ArboRing which has an abrasion resistant covering to prevent harm to trees. We have a variety of Round Slings and Dead Eye Slings with a range of working loads from 12kN to 92kN.

Karabiners and shackles all conform to the EN362 safety standards. They are manufactured by internationally recognised brands and are designed to be hard wearing and ultra reliable.

We stock a range of rigging pulleys including the DMM Pinto Rig Pulley which has been hot forged for strength and includes features to maintain efficiency and minimise wear on rope. The Petzl Tandem Pulley is designed for use with rope traverses and conforms to EN12278.
