Our range of traffic management signs are specifically geared to the forestry industry. They include everything that tree surgeons and arborists need when temporarily working on the roadside. Due to the nature of arborists’ work, correct signage and sign placement is crucial for the safety of road users and pedestrians. All signs must conform to BS-873 UK safety standards for the use of materials on road traffic signs. These are UK standards determining the use of the correct materials for maximum visibility.

Traffic management products also adhere to the code of practice set out in Chapter 8 of the government’s official Traffic Signs Manual relates to ‘Traffic Safety Measures and Signs for Road Works and Temporary Situations’ which outlines the legal requirements covered by various legal regulations including the New Roads and Street Works Act 1991, the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions (TSRGD) and the Highways Act 1980.

Our traffic cones are built to last using heavy duty thermoplastic with Sealbrite sleeves to ensure visibility. Traffic signs are lightweight and roll up into a compact bundle which makes them easy to set up and transport. Sign bags are made from tough waterproof PVC with Cordura ends which makes them especially durable and perfectly suited for the forestry industry.
